Who can join the Refer a Friend program?

The program is exclusively for existing BrightStar Credit Union members in good standing. When you sign up, we verify your information against our member records. If you're not yet a member, you'll need to open an account at the credit union first.

Who can I refer?

Refer friends and family who are not already BrightStar Credit Union members and who live, work, or attend school in one of our eligible Florida counties:

Broward, Collier, Lee, Martin, Miami-Dade, Palm Beach, St. Lucie, Pinellas, Hillsborough, Polk, Osceola, Brevard, Manatee, Hardee, Highlands, Okeechobee, Indian River, Sarasota, DeSoto, Charlotte, Glades, Hendry, and Monroe.

How do I get my referral link?

After signing up and verifying your BrightStar Credit Union membership, your unique referral code and link will appear in your dashboard. Share it with friends and family via text, email, or social media.

When do I receive my reward?

Rewards are issued only after your referral becomes a verified BrightStar Credit Union member. Once their membership is confirmed in our records, both you and your friend receive your e-gift cards via email, typically within a few business days.

What if my information doesn't match my membership record?

If your name, email, phone, or date of birth doesn't match what's on file at BrightStar Credit Union, signup may be declined. Please contact Member Services or visit any branch to update your information. Once your record is up to date, you can register on the platform.

Is there a limit on referrals?

To ensure program integrity, there is a daily limit and annual limit on the number of referrals you can make. You can track your remaining referrals in your dashboard. Contact us if you have questions about limits.

What type of rewards do I receive?

Rewards are delivered as digital e-gift cards sent directly to your email. You can choose from a variety of popular retailers when redeeming. The choice is yours!
